PROJECT DESCRIPTION

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Each year the Stockholm International Filmfestival produce a magazine with articles and the festival program for the festival visitors, and a catalog which is a collectible. I worked as lead designer in 2011 and 2013, leading a team of two junior designers. In 2011 I redesigned the film sections as I saw a need for a flexible module system that visually gave equal space to each film. Each section could hold between 17 to 22 films and each film had the same text lenght. In 2013 I also designed the festival posters.

My role: Lead designer, redesign, image sourcing, project management.

Tools used: Adobe In Design, Adobe Photoshop.

THE CLIENT

THE CLIENT

The Stockholm International Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Stockholm, Sweden. It was launched in 1990 and has been held every year in the second half of November.

Since its start the festival has focused on bringing forth and supporting new talents through competitions and scholarships. A third of the films selected for the festival are made by a debuting director and only directors who have made less than 3 films are selected for the competition. In 2011 The Stockholm Film Festival Feature Film Award was inaugurated which funds a feature film for an unestablished female director.
